As part of our exciting three-year growth plan, Castle Corporate Finance has spent the past six months undergoing a period of transformation, seeking to improve how we connect with our network, and extend the depth and breadth of the team’s capabilities, to better support owner managers looking to buy, sell or grow their businesses.
“I knew that the team we have been building here at Castle has the capability to deliver some really exciting projects and we are keen to support this journey with a greater investment in training, marketing and recruitment to deliver an improved ‘Castle experience’ for all of our clients”, said Stuart Stepney, Managing Director.
“We have worked hard to identify what sets us apart from our competitors and it has become apparent that the close bond we share as a team also extends to the long-standing relationships we build with clients.
“People respond to our human and direct approach while appreciating the personalised service they receive, and I wanted our new brand to reflect this ethos.”
The priority has been to assemble the team of experts to turn such big plans into a reality, and this started with Victoria’s promotion to Director earlier this year, and also becoming a company shareholder alongside Stuart.
Cambridge-educated Rebecca Partridge joined Castle as a Senior Manager in May, bringing a wealth of experience from her years as interim FD for private equity backed businesses, while new Corporate Finance Executive Josh Dobias joins from global accounting firm PwC and is now keen to make his mark on successful assignments for Castle.
While Castle boasts an impressive network of contacts, we identified a real need for a new visual identity and marketing strategy to communicate the business’ future aspirations to the wider industry.
“We wanted a brand that really summed up the spirit of Castle Corporate Finance – our driven and ambitious nature, but also our sense of humour. It was important that the brand was distinctive, and resonated with potential clients, while cultivating a real sense of what it is to work with us as a team”, added Stuart.
After undergoing a full discovery phase, the team commissioned an award-winning illustrator who regularly features in the Guardian to create some bespoke character drawings to feature as part of a refined and intelligent corporate brand. The result is the combination of a simple illustrative style paired with sharp messaging that aims to speak directly to clients on a level they both appreciate and enjoy.
As if this isn’t enough, the team has also recently re-located to the stunning Salomons Estate in Tunbridge Wells in order to facilitate further growth and support greater networking with clients and professional contacts, both old and new.
“We have been working hard on these plans for some months now, and we are proud to finally introduce our new brand and team members. Keep a watch on Castle in the future as we have exciting developments in the pipeline!”.
