Chablis and Claret is a beautiful combination at any time of year, but it’s particularly welcome at Christmas. This set features a classic cool-climate Chablis, full of fresh citrus and mineral notes, and an elegant, structured St Emilion from Château Haut-Plantey – a perfect match for roast turkey and gammon, game or a festive cheese board.

The 2012 vintage gave wines of opulence and maturity, favouring Pinot Noir grown in Mailly – which accounts for a large percentage of our cuvée. The wine is ripe, yet tantalizingly refreshing, with aromas of yellow plum, red apple and lemon meringue. The palate is wonderfully mineral, silky and foaming, with notes of white peach, stem ginger and patisserie, gained from over six years’ ageing before release. Drink now to 2028.
